Hey, Joe here.

If you couldn't already tell, I don't take myself too seriously. Life's tough enough as it is to let anything get you down (including large bald eagles).

To me, photography is more than a side job. It's a passion.

There's nothing more rewarding than capturing that perfect moment. Like when an Emu just happens to look at the camera the same time you are.

But wait, there's more.

I went on to spend 15 years in the US Army, traveling the globe to places like Afghanistan, Egypt, Iraq, and even Cuba. But I hurt my back and that was the end of it.

Unsure of what to do after my military career fizzled out, I would spend the next few years exploring numerous interests eventually landing in more fulfilling roles doing multimedia communications work and photography.

Yes, I like love taking selfies with animals.
